Beginning Knitting Classes 1A

Classes will resume in January, 2024!

Class 1A consists of three 1.5 hour sessions (Saturday 9-10:30 am), and the following Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:30-7:00 pm. In session one knitters learn the basic vocabulary for yarn and needles. Then the class moves on to supplies and how to prepare for casting on and making those first stitches.  The second and third sessions on Tuesday and Thursdays will be practicing those basic stitches until students feel confident to move to Beginning Knitting 1B which is a project class where students choose projects to complete with their friends and instructor from their 1A class.

The class fee includes instructional materials and 10% discount on supplies such as yarn and needles.
